8 tips to keep your spaces clean and tidy

1- Establish a routine
It is one of the first golden rules. An order is necessary so as not to clean one day yes, another day no, when we feel like it… With some habits everything will be easier.
2- Clean while we cook
You have to be with four eyes when we cook, but while we wait for the oven or for the pot to heat the food, we can already start collecting everything we have used. Two tasks instead of one make us save time.
3- Simplify
Right away, don’t leave it for tomorrow
When we leave cleaning for another day, things pile up and then it takes longer to get everything sparkling clean. If we have just cooked or eaten, we will immediately wash the necessary things and put the dishes we have used in the dishwasher. Otherwise the fat dries out and then it costs more to remove it.
4- 15 minutes a day
Even if you are very busy, surely you will have 15 minutes a day to go over the most important things in the house. That is, clean the bathrooms, the kitchen, the floors and remove the dust. They are essential tasks that must be done every day for home maintenance. We will leave for another day the most exhaustive cleaning.
5- The necessary products
It will be useless to have a product for everything. It is not about buying unnecessary cleaning products, but the most effective and specific ones for each corner and material. It will be easier and everything will look longer. Remember that cheap is expensive.
Another way to organize home cleaning is to allocate one day to each room. On Mondays it’s 30 minutes in the bathtub, on Tuesdays in the kitchen, on Wednesday to dust the whole house, on Thursday to clean rooms… and then we must include a weekly day of more effort and monthly tasks, something more arduous and that require more time, such as cleaning windows or giving a review to the terrace.
6- Tasks for days
7- Everyone’s task
The house will be cleaner and for longer, whether we spend 15 minutes a day or if we use the tasks for days, among all those who live in the house. The result will be satisfactory and much faster. It is about distributing tasks in common areas and that each one cleans their plot (rooms or office).
8- Avoid generating garbage
By this we not only mean food waste or glass to recycle, but also paper and other unnecessary objects that always swarm in the same places.
